Who We Are
-
Stadium Drive Baptist Church has served the families of southwest Fort Worth for over seventy years. We are a Southern Baptist congregation rooted in the authority of Scripture and the historic Christian faith, and we believe the local church is the place where ordinary people grow in that faith together.
Our mission is simple: to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our neighbors in Fort Worth, with our city, and with the world beyond it. Fort Worth has grown into one of the ten largest cities in the United States and continues to expand each year. That growth gives our church a unique opportunity to welcome new neighbors and to introduce them to Christ.
We aim to be a church where the teaching is faithful, the people are kind, and the door is open.

If this is your first time visiting, here is what a Sunday morning looks like at Stadium Drive.
Services begin at 10:50 AM on Sunday mornings and last about an hour. Our worship includes congregational singing, prayer, the reading of Scripture, and a sermon from Pastor Brandon. The music is led by piano and is drawn primarily from the traditional hymns of the faith, with songs chosen each week to reflect the theme of the sermon.
Dress is casual. Some members wear slacks or dresses; others come in jeans. Come as you are.
A greeter will meet you at the front entrance and can answer any questions, point you toward the nursery, or simply help you find a seat. There is no expectation that visitors give during the offering — it is for those who call Stadium Drive their church home.

Stadium Drive Baptist Church holds to the historic beliefs of the Christian faith and to the doctrinal convictions of the Southern Baptist Convention as expressed in the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
In summary, we believe:
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and life. God exists eternally in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the sins of the world, rose bodily from the grave, and will return again. Salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. The church is the body of Christ, called to worship, to make disciples, and to serve one another.
We believe the Christian life is lived in God's love — a love that draws us to Him and to one another, and that grows in us as we walk with Christ. We are not meant to follow Him in isolation. The church is where we find community, share in each other's lives, and bear one another's burdens as we grow together in faith.
We welcome questions about what we believe and why.

Worship Our Sunday morning worship service is the central gathering of our church family. Music is led from the piano, with hymns chosen to reflect the theme of each week's sermon.
Bible Study Adult Bible study meets Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM and offers a setting for closer study of Scripture and for the kind of friendships that grow through regular conversation about God's Word.
Children & Family We love having children at Stadium Drive. Childcare is provided in the nursery during Sunday services so that parents with young children can worship freely, and families are encouraged to sit together when they prefer.
